Holly, Wreaths, and Garland...Oh My!
I'm finally dedicating some time to post photos of this last holiday project. Gina and I did some amazing things and had fun seeing our clients' smiling faces when finished with our creations! We hope to have our wonderful mentor and sweet friend, Mary, join in on the holiday fun this year. We worked hard at transforming homes into winter wonderlands last year, and we're practically booked the entire month of November into the first week of December, but might be able to squeeze in one or two more clients. Success! "Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful.."
Holiday Installations
Note: I'm reposting this again to be current as the photos that follow relate to this bit of news...and makes me laugh to read it again!)
Last week was full of such things! Fellow design elf (Gina) and I are recovering from last week's flurry of holiday installations. We worked 'round the clock on some lovely homes for equally lovely clients. At last count, one holiday showcase home housed eleven trees along with mounds of garland, tinsel, ribbons, bows, jeweled ornaments and glistening lights. Two were mini's, but the rest were 6 - 18 ft trees. Perhaps some were larger (or smaller), but then again it's all a faint memory now. I hope to post a few pictures in a day or so, but December 1st has quickly descended upon me...which translates into strapping on my necessary design attire (10 hour days + one 15 minute break = Dr. Scholl's massaging gel inserts) and game-ready gear: wire cutters, scissors, hot glue gun, tall soy chai latte, etc... to get another grand home ready to ring in the holiday season! Ho Ho Ho!
